My Side Hustles Guide: How I Make an Extra Cash Outside my 9-5

Ok so you want to know how to make some extra cash? Yeah don’t we all!

I’ve spent several years trying to figure out how to make money online (from my couch while I watch Netflix). I’m spilling the tea on my tried and true side hustles. Let’s get into it.

This post is all about my favorite and most successful side hustles.

1. Blogging

shocker, right? lol

Blogging is a great side hustle for people who don’t like showing their face online, and until very recently that was me.

With all the advances in AI lately, this side hustle is easier than ever! If you think I don’t use chatGPT for the assist, you’re crazy.

There are definitely some strategies and things you gotta know about how to set up a blog, monetize, and market it. I’m a HUGE advocate in education and fast tracking success. It’s been more than worth it over and over.

2. Cliqly

At first this seemed a little scammy, but they let you have a free trial, and I realized very quickly it was legit. Here’s the link.

Basically the platform sets you up with email templates and email addresses. You’ll send out these emails in order to build a subscriber list. You’ll earn 10 cents per click on your emails and have the opportunity to earn commission on top of that if you upgrade.

Since you’re sending out literally hundreds of thousands of emails each day, you’re very highly likely to make money.

PLUS it literally takes me less than 10 minutes per day.

You get out what you put into it, and I decided to upgrade and invest in the $97 plan real quick. If you’re consistent you’ll make it back real quick. It look me less than a week. But remember CONSISTENCY.

3. Survey Apps

I’m sure you’ve heard of these. Surveys can be such an easy way to make money while you’re chilling.

There are several apps that are totally free to use and will pay out pretty dang well.

Here are my top favorites:

Influence Surveys – LOVE this app. It pays super well, and even gives you the option to answer video questions that pay big bucks. EASY money.
AttaPoll – really like this one for lots of reasons. Mainly because it gives LOTS of surveys, and I don’t get kicked out of them. If you sign up with that link you’ll get a little bonus 🙂
Qmee – the interface on this one is great. You’ll get percentage bumps periodically as you stay consistent. Plus the daily polls are nice
Eureka – straight up really enjoy the surveys this one gives. They are easy to answer, and the interface is super easy to understand.

So yeah, turn on your show and start earning!

4. Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is blowing up, no doubt you’ve seen it all over social media. There is a lot of scammy stuff out there, not going to lie.

I try to implement affiliate marketing in an authentic way into each of my side hustles.

my stan store is linked in my social media with affiliate links that allow me to get affiliate commissions on those products that I’ve tried and tested.

Basically you can get paid for referring people to things you already use and like. It’s not complicated and very passive.

If you’re interested in trying out affiliate marketing, but don’t want to show your face, or start a blog, check out Benable. I’ve enjoyed this method of affiliate marketing quite a bit. 5. Digital Marketing

Ok, this is the real money maker, and I’m not kidding. $500 per sale.

I have created my own digital products, and invested in a course that came with master resell rights that will teach you EVERYTHING you need to know about digital marketing. You will also have the right to then resell the course at 100% profits with your purchase.

Digital marketing is very broad, but essentially it is the promotion of products via internet means. So in this course I learned how to make content that converts, lead capture, sales funnel creation, all kinds of digital product creation (including courses), affiliate marketing, SEO, and SO MUCH MORE. You’ll basically learn how to set up and automate your online business so you can focus on bringing in the people.

6. TikTok and Instagram

This may or may not be appealing to you, i totally get it.

But to be honest, this is probably one of the best side hustles that you can do.

Growing an audience online will set you up to make side income in tons of different ways.

I try to post daily, and post the exact same thing on both platforms. Right now I use these as a funnel to all my other streams of income you read about above. I linked my blog so I can get more income from that, my stan store allows me to get more affiliate income – including from my survey app links! It’s amazing. and surprisingly simple.

Just gotta get past the cringe, cuz it’s so real. This one is not quick and easy, but it is simple once you grow your audience.

And there you have it…

I’m not an expert, but I will say it’s pretty dang exciting to get paid while I relax. Most of these even pay me while I sleep! If not, they don’t take long, and are not challenging – consistency is the name of the game (as usual).

All of these side hustles are very manageable to do while you work a 9-5. If you don’t work, make them your full-time income! That’s my goal anyways.
